Bottom line – I feel like this game cannot be relied upon b/c it must activate its license online and tech support is either moribund or too delayed to be useful. It’s a very good game, but it has to have good support to be viable. Not recommended.

3/30/10 Installed game on my MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.8. Entered serial code. Ran well in my office.
3/31/10 Could not use game in class per plan b/c I had some trouble with the game running mirrored display prior to class (partly out of game’s insistence on 1024×768)
4/1/10 Went back to classroom and worked out problem. Game ran fine on mirrored display.
4/2/10 Installed 10.6.3 on my computer
4/3/10 Started Peacemaker, put it through a few paces, all is well. It did ask me about activating the license, but it worked fine.
4/7/10 Again could not use game in class b/c this time it said it could not activate the license b/c it was in use already. Note that this is the only computer upon which I have installed the game and entered the code. I called tech support just before class and left a message, hoping they could do something. I also sent an email to tech support through this site. While waiting, I downloaded the deactivate/reactivate patch and installed it and then tried to deactivate. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and reran the patch. Still no luck. I hoped that tech support would call me and ride to the rescue … but no ride. And still no reply via email or phone as of this time.

I have the physical disk v.1.08 purchased from Amazon. Is there a patch for me that finally adresses the QT issues? Please advise.

Have tried this in two PCs a Dell laptop with Vista and a desktop with Vista 64, in both I have installed and reinstalled for this game QT and even though the game opens I received no sound nor video in both settings. I installed the patch – not the Perez one – without reaults, installed the settings file, nothing new escept from the windowed opening. Please advise.

@Wahrhaftig – Sorry for the inconvenience. Patch B is good for the online version as well as the physical CD that you own. After installing it, please restart and run the game again. If you still encounter any issue, let us know.

I just installed the latest QuickTime, as directed by Peacemaker’s error message. PM does come up now but gets stuck – ie for the most part won’t take any directions from me.

I am using a disk I bought directly from you. The QT patch you have listed on home only mentiohns Perez versions and ohn-line versions – no mention of disk version. (Mine is version 1.0.0)

Please advise how I can get this thing cranked up
